2 Timothy 3:15 - “And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
At its core, God's Word leads us to the greatest truth of all - salvation through Jesus Christ. While it teaches, corrects, and guides us, its ultimate purpose is to point us to our Savior. The Bible isn't just a manual for better living; it's the roadmap to eternal life through a relationship with Jesus. When we approach Scripture with open hearts, it reveals not only our need for salvation but also God's perfect provision through Christ. The Bible shows us the way to salvation is through the blood of Jesus, and through us saying, “Jesus, be my Lord and be my Savior.” This truth transforms not just our eternal destiny but our daily lives as well.
Question - How has God's Word helped you understand and grow in your relationship with Jesus?
“Jesus, thank You for revealing Yourself through Your Word. Help me to see You more clearly as I read and study scripture. Draw me closer to You through Your Word. In Your Name, amen.”
