
Josh Franklin, PhD, DMin
JOSH is Senior Pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Virginia (www.mountvernon.church), and has been serving in local church ministry since April, 2002, and has been walking with the Lord since 1995.
Josh holds two doctorates (PhD, DMin) and two masters (ThM, MDiv) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO.
Josh has written several books including: Starting Strong, Pathway to Power, Believer’s Baptism, Don’t Drink Responsibly, and The Vanishing of the Gospel (coauthor). He was also honored with the Warren-Poe Award for Rural Church Ministry “for demonstrating excellence in, or potential and promise for, effective pastoral ministry in a rural Southern Baptist Church” in 2010.
Josh and his wife, Lydia, have 3 sons: Josiah, Caleb, and Levi.
